Description: The PPPoE major interface parameter PADR remote circuit id capture flag controls whether the remote circuit id string possibly contained in the PADR packet will be saved and used by AAA to replace the NAS-PORT-ID field.
What is juniPppoeProfilePadrRemoteCircuitIdCapture?
This value controls whether a remote circuit ID string possibly contained in a PADR packet is saved and later used by AAA to replace the NAS-PORT-ID field, defaulting to disable. An admin enables this in DSL/broadband access deployments where the access node inserts a circuit ID into PPPoE tags that should be relayed to the RADIUS server for accurate subscriber location tracking. Setting juniPppoeProfilePadrRemoteCircuitIdCapture to enable makes AAA use the captured circuit ID from the PADR packet in place of the default NAS-PORT-ID value.
