Description: The clock rate setting for this HDLC interface. This object is only applicable to HDLC interfaces directly over a high speed serial interface (HSSI).
At creation, if a value for this object is not specified, a default will be chosen that is suitable for the type of lower interface on which this interface is stacked. If the lower interface is not HSSI, then the default value will be hdlcClockRateUnsupported(0); if the lower interface is HSSI then the default value will be hdlcClockRate44At736Mhz(2).
What is juniHdlcIfClockRate?
This enumerated value sets the clock rate for this HDLC interface, applicable only when it runs directly over a High Speed Serial Interface (HSSI): unsupported, 34.368 Mbps (E3), or 44.736 Mbps (T3/DS3). Admins select the rate matching the physical circuit's actual speed to establish correct HSSI signaling. On an HSSI-backed interface the default is hdlcClockRate44At736Mhz(2), matching a T3-speed circuit unless changed to the E3 rate.
