jmJobIDJobSetIndex

Module: Job-Monitoring-MIB

OID (symbolic): Job-Monitoring-MIB::jmJobIDJobSetIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2699.1.1.1.2.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: This object contains the value of the jmGeneralJobSetIndex for the job with the jmJobSubmissionID value, i.e., the job set index of the job set in which the job was placed when that server or device accepted the job. This 16-bit value in

combination with the jmJobIDJobIndex value permits the management application to access the other tables to obtain the job-specific objects for this job.

See jmGeneralJobSetIndex in the jmGeneralTable.

What is jmJobIDJobSetIndex?

This read-only value reports the job-set index of the job set into which a job (identified by its submission ID) was originally placed, used together with jmJobIDJobIndex to locate that job's full data in the other job tables. An admin uses it during job lookups to navigate from a known submission ID to the correct job-set table. For example, a job-set index of 2 tells the management application to look in the second job set's tables for the remaining details of that job.
