jnxLossPriority
Module: JUNIPER-ANALYZER-MIB
OID (symbolic): JUNIPER-ANALYZER-MIB::jnxLossPriority
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2636.3.40.1.1.1.1.1.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The analyzer port may be congested when the number of packets exceeds the bandwidth of the analyzer port. So the loss-priority parameter is enabled. The switched packets will not get affected by this. The value 0 corresponds to low priority.The value 1 corresponds to high loss priority.
What is jnxLossPriority?
This read-only INTEGER object reports the loss priority (low(0) or high(1)) assigned to mirrored traffic on an analyzer session when the analyzer port becomes congested. It tells an admin whether mirrored packets get preferential treatment or are more likely to be dropped when mirrored traffic exceeds the analyzer port's bandwidth, noting that switched (original) traffic is unaffected either way. For example, seeing high(1) on a session means mirrored copies of packets from that source are the first to be dropped if the analyzer port gets oversubscribed.
