isdnSignalingGetIndex
Module: ISDN-MIB
OID (symbolic): ISDN-MIB::isdnSignalingGetIndex
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.20.1.3.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TestAndIncr
Access: read-write
Description: The recommended procedure for selecting a new index for isdnSignalingTable row creation is to GET the value of this object, and then to SET the object with the same value. If the SET operation succeeds, the manager can use this value as an index to create a new row in this table.
What is isdnSignalingGetIndex?
Read-write TestAndIncr object used to safely claim a free index for creating a new isdnSignalingTable row: an admin GETs its current value then SETs it back unchanged, and success means that value is now reserved for the new row.
