Description: The number of octets contained in IP datagrams which were received from these sources and addressed to this multicast group address, and which were forwarded by this router.
What is ipMRouteOctets?
This counter totals the bytes of multicast traffic from a source that was forwarded by the router toward a multicast group. It measures how much data flowed through a specific source-group pair. A multicast network manager reviews this to identify which video streams consume the most bandwidth.
