ipfixTransportSessionSourcePort

Module: IPFIX-MIB

OID (symbolic): IPFIX-MIB::ipfixTransportSessionSourcePort

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.193.1.1.1.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: InetPortNumber

Access: read-only

Description: The transport protocol port number of the Exporter. This object is used with protocols (specified in ipfixTransportSessionProtocol) like TCP (6) and UDP (17) that have the notion of ports. SCTP (132) should copy the value of sctpAssocLocalPort if the Transport Session is in collecting mode or sctpAssocRemPort if the Transport Session is in exporting mode. The association is referenced by the ipfixTransportSessionSctpAssocId. If any other protocol without the notion of ports is used, the object MUST be set to zero.

What is ipfixTransportSessionSourcePort?

Reports the transport-layer source port number used by the Exporter for this IPFIX session (over TCP/UDP), useful when an admin needs to match this session against a packet capture or firewall rule.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.193.1.1.1.1.7
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> IPFIX-MIB::ipfixTransportSessionSourcePort

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.193.1.1.1.1.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> IPFIX-MIB::ipfixTransportSessionSourcePort.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> ipfixTransportSessionSourcePort.1
