What is ipadPPPCfgNegPAP?
This object determines whether PAP (Password Authentication Protocol) will be negotiated as a fallback authentication method if a more secure protocol is rejected during PPP link establishment. PAP is a weaker authentication method but provides compatibility with older systems. Network administrators use this setting to balance security requirements with interoperability when establishing dial-up or PPP connections to legacy equipment.
