Description: The total number of octets in IP datagrams delivered to the lower layers for transmission. This objects counts the same octets as ipSystemStatsOutOctets, but allows for larger values.

Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the management system, and at other times as indicated by the value of

ipSystemStatsDiscontinuityTime.

What is ipSystemStatsHCOutOctets?

The same total transmitted octet count system-wide for a given IP version as the corresponding 32-bit OutOctets counter, but as a 64-bit value.
