switchMaximumPower

Module: INTELCORPORATION-MULTI-FLEX-SERVER-SWITCH-MIB

OID (symbolic): INTELCORPORATION-MULTI-FLEX-SERVER-SWITCH-MIB::switchMaximumPower

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.2.19.1.2.10.203.1.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Power

Access: read-only

Description: Static maximum power generation / consumption (in watts):

<0 - Negative numbers indicate device consumes power (in watts) >0 - Positive numbers indicate device generates power (in watts) 0 - Device is passive (does not not consume or generate power) -1 - Maximum power generation/consumption not known or specified

What is switchMaximumPower?

The switch module's static maximum power draw in watts, using a signed convention: negative means the device consumes power, positive means it generates power, 0 means passive, and -1 means the value isn't known. An admin sizing chassis power budgets reads this to see the worst-case load a populated switch bay can add.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> INTELCORPORATION-MULTI-FLEX-SERVER-SWITCH-MIB::switchMaximumPower

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.2.19.1.2.10.203.1.1.8.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> INTELCORPORATION-MULTI-FLEX-SERVER-SWITCH-MIB::switchMaximumPower.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> switchMaximumPower.1
