Module: INTEL-IP-MULTICAST-ROUTER-MIB
OID (symbolic): INTEL-IP-MULTICAST-ROUTER-MIB::confIfCreateObj
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.32.1.2.1.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OCTET STRING

Description: Create a non existing table entry. If the entry already exist, genError is returned. Binary format: 1 bytes confIfMCRouteProto 4 bytes confIfIgmpQueryInterval 4 bytes confIfIgmpRobustness 1 byte confIfDvmrpMetric 1 bytes confIfDvmrpUnreachableMetric
What is confIfCreateObj?
confIfCreateObj is an action object that creates a new confIfTable row in one operation, by packing confIfMCRouteProto, confIfIgmpQueryInterval, confIfIgmpRobustness, confIfDvmrpMetric, and confIfDvmrpUnreachableMetric into an 11-byte binary string, per its documented byte layout. An admin, or a management application, uses this to provision a new multicast interface's full DVMRP and IGMP configuration in a single SNMP SET instead of creating the row and then setting five separate objects, and the agent returns genError if the entry already exists. For example, to add a new interface entry with multicast routing enabled, a query interval of 125, robustness of 2, DVMRP metric of 1, and unreachable metric of 31, a management tool would encode those five values into the 11-byte string and SET confIfCreateObj with it.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.32.1.2.1.7 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> INTEL-IP-MULTICAST-ROUTER-MIB::confIfCreateObj
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.32.1.2.1.7.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> INTEL-IP-MULTICAST-ROUTER-MIB::confIfCreateObj.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.343.6.32.1.2.1.7.1 s <value>
