dot11TwentyMHzFrameTransmittedCount

Module: IEEE802dot11-MIB

OID (symbolic): IEEE802dot11-MIB::dot11TwentyMHzFrameTransmittedCount

OID (numeric): 1.2.840.10036.2.2.1.39

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter32

Access: read-only

Description:

This counter shall be incremented when a Frame is transmitted only on the primary channel.

What is dot11TwentyMHzFrameTransmittedCount?

This OID holds a counter that increments each time a wireless frame is transmitted using only the primary 20 MHz channel (without channel bonding), tracking narrowband transmissions. It measures how often the wireless radio transmits in 'normal' single-channel mode versus wider bonded channels. A WiFi engineer would examine this counter to understand whether their 802.11n/ac network is using channel bonding efficiently or mostly sending data on single channels.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.2.840.10036.2.2.1.39
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> IEEE802dot11-MIB::dot11TwentyMHzFrameTransmittedCount

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.2.840.10036.2.2.1.39.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> IEEE802dot11-MIB::dot11TwentyMHzFrameTransmittedCount.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> dot11TwentyMHzFrameTransmittedCount.1
