Description: This counter shall increment when a CTS is not received in response to an RTS.

What is dot11RTSFailureCount?

This counter increments each time a wireless device transmits a Request-to-Send (RTS) frame but fails to receive the expected Clear-to-Send (CTS) response from the receiver. RTS/CTS failures indicate medium contention, interference, or link degradation in the wireless channel. Wireless network operators monitor this counter to diagnose radio issues, identify interference sources, and adjust transmit power or channel settings.
