Description: This attribute shall specify the number of slots, after a SIFS duration, that the HC shall sense the medium idle either before transmitting or executing a backoff. The default value of this attribute shall be 1.

What is dot11HCCAIFSN?

This OID specifies how many slot periods a WiFi access point must wait (after a short silent period) before checking if the radio is free to transmit. The default value of 1 means minimal waiting; higher values reduce collisions but add latency. Engineers adjust this for crowded wireless environments.
