Description:

This attribute, when TRUE, indicates that the capability of the station to operate using the HCC or EHCC algorithms for determining Hopping Patterns is enabled. The capability is disabled, otherwise. The default value of this attribute is FALSE.

What is dot11EHCCCapabilityEnabled?

This OID is a true/false setting that enables or disables advanced frequency-hopping algorithms on a WiFi device. When enabled, the radio uses improved pattern algorithms to avoid interference. A wireless administrator would turn this on to improve range and reliability in environments with competing radio signals.
