Description:

This attribute, when TRUE indicates that the AP uses dual CTS protection to protect the non-STBC frame and STBC frame transmissions. The default value of this attribute is FALSE.

What is dot11DualCTSProtection?

This OID enables or disables a WiFi protection mechanism where the access point sends two CTS (Clear To Send) signals to protect different frame types. Enabling this improves compatibility when mixing older and newer WiFi clients. A WiFi administrator would enable this in networks with mixed-generation devices to reduce frame collisions.
