Description: The route test result. This indicates whether the route test was:

1. successfully executed, or 2. in progress and has not completed yet, or 3. no response was received from one or more nodes, or 4. the nce id used to trigger the route test was invalid, or 5. the tcid used to trigger the route test was invalid, or 6. the lu name used to trigger the route test was invalid, or 7. the mode name used to trigger the route test was invalid for the lu name specified, or 8. a contiguous hpr route from this node to the target lu does not exist and cannot be created.

What is ibmHprRtGenResult?

ibmHprRtGenResult reports the outcome of an HPR route test as one of eight coded results: successful, inProgress, noResponse, nceidInvalid, tcidInvalid, luInvalid, modeInvalid, or noHprRoute. Admins poll this after triggering a test to learn whether the route succeeded or, if not, which specific input or path problem caused the failure, directly guiding next troubleshooting steps. For example, a result of luInvalid(6) tells the admin the LU name they specified in the name trigger doesn't exist, while noHprRoute(8) means no viable HPR path could be built to the target at all.
