ibmfrBRSCircuitClassBytesOverflow

Module: IBMFRBRS-MIB

OID (symbolic): IBMFRBRS-MIB::ibmfrBRSCircuitClassBytesOverflow

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.119.4.4.4.1.2.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter32

Access: read-only

Description: The total number of bytes for packets that could not be transmitted for this circuit class. This can be either the maximum queue-length was reached for a priority queue or the packet could not be queued because the priority queue was at the minimum queue length threshold and the packet came from an interface that was running low on receive buffers.

What is ibmfrBRSCircuitClassBytesOverflow?

This read-only counter tracks bytes that could not be transmitted for this circuit class, either because a priority queue hit its maximum length or because the queue was at its minimum threshold while the interface was low on receive buffers. Rising values here signal congestion or buffer starvation for this class's traffic.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.119.4.4.4.1.2.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> IBMFRBRS-MIB::ibmfrBRSCircuitClassBytesOverflow

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.119.4.4.4.1.2.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> IBMFRBRS-MIB::ibmfrBRSCircuitClassBytesOverflow.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> ibmfrBRSCircuitClassBytesOverflow.1
