rxr1dStpPriority
Module: IBM-RXR-MIB
OID (symbolic): IBM-RXR-MIB::rxr1dStpPriority
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.26.1.2.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The value of the write-able portion of the Bridge ID, i.e., the first two octets of the (8 octet long) Bridge ID. The other (last) 6 octets of the Bridge ID are given by the value of rxr1dBaseBridgeAddress.
What is rxr1dStpPriority?
Sets the writable half of this bridge's 8-byte Bridge Identifier (the other 6 bytes come from rxr1dBaseBridgeAddress), which Spanning Tree Protocol uses to elect the root bridge — lower values win. An admin lowers this value on the switch they want STP to prefer as the network's root bridge.
