multicastSendMaxReservedBw

Module: IBM-LES-BUS-MIB

OID (symbolic): IBM-LES-BUS-MIB::multicastSendMaxReservedBw

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.118.1.2.1.1.1.1.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Bandwidth

Access: read-write

Description: Defines the maximum acceptable Sustained Cell Rate (SCR) for a Multicast Send VCC; if SCR is not specified on the incoming call, then this parameter defines the maximum acceptable Peak Cell Rate (PCR) for a Multicast Send VCC with reserved bandwidth. This parameter is applied to both forward and backward directions. Calls received with Traffic Parameters specifying higher rates will be released. If SCR is specified on the incoming call, the call will not be rejected due to the PCR or Maximum Burst Size. The constraint imposed by this parameter is not applicable to BEST EFFORT connections.

What is multicastSendMaxReservedBw?

Sets the maximum Sustained (or, if unspecified, Peak) Cell Rate the LES/BUS will accept for a reserved-bandwidth Multicast Send VCC in both directions; calls requesting more than this rate are released, mirroring controlDirectMaxReservedBw but for the multicast-send path.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.118.1.2.1.1.1.1.1.10
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> IBM-LES-BUS-MIB::multicastSendMaxReservedBw

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.118.1.2.1.1.1.1.1.10.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> IBM-LES-BUS-MIB::multicastSendMaxReservedBw.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.118.1.2.1.1.1.1.1.10.1 s <value>
