ibminterfaceClearAll

Module: IBM-INTERFACE-MIB

OID (symbolic): IBM-INTERFACE-MIB::ibminterfaceClearAll

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.119.4.17.1.1.13

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: When SET to a value of clear(1), all the reset actions performed by the MIB objects defined above are executed at once.

This action has the same behavior as executing the CLEAR command from the T5 console prompt (+).

When READ, this object always returns a value of noaction(0), since this object is intended as a trigger, rather than providing information.

What is ibminterfaceClearAll?

This read-write trigger object executes every reset action defined by the other ibminterfaceClear objects at once when set to clear(1), equivalent to running the CLEAR command from the T5 console prompt; reading it always returns noaction(0) since it exists purely to trigger an action, not to report state. Admins use this as a single command to fully reset all statistics for an interface without setting each individual clear object. For example, setting it to clear(1) resets every inbound, outbound, maintenance, and device-specific counter for the interface simultaneously.
