bcmStaticTargetsRowStatus

Module: IBM-BCM-MIB

OID (symbolic): IBM-BCM-MIB::bcmStaticTargetsRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.118.1.2.1.3.1.3.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-write

Description: This object is used to create or activate and inactivate entries in the bcmStaticTargetsTable.

Note: in order to set RowStatus active bcmStaticTargetsProtocol and bcmStaticTargetsAtmAddress must be set to in the same SET bindings. If the optional object bcmStaticTargetsMacAddress is desired it must also be SET in the same bindings.

Once the RowStatus is set to active, objects maybe individually set.

Only values of active(1) and inActive(2) are supported for this table.

What is bcmStaticTargetsRowStatus?

Drives creation and activation of a row in bcmStaticTargetsTable: to bring a row up you must set bcmStaticTargetsProtocol and bcmStaticTargetsAtmAddress (and optionally the MAC address) together with this object in the same SNMP SET, and this table only honors active and inactive states rather than the full RowStatus state machine.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.118.1.2.1.3.1.3.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> IBM-BCM-MIB::bcmStaticTargetsRowStatus

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.118.1.2.1.3.1.3.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> IBM-BCM-MIB::bcmStaticTargetsRowStatus.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.118.1.2.1.3.1.3.1.5.1 s <value>
