Module: HUAWEI-VLL-STATISTIC-MIB
OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-VLL-STATISTIC-MIB::hwVllQosStatisticDiscardPacketRate
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.119.7.1.2.1.10
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Counter64
Access: read-only
Description: Rate of discarded packets for the past 30 seconds, based on the interface. Unit: pps
What is hwVllQosStatisticDiscardPacketRate?
This read-only value reports the rate, in packets per second averaged over the past 30 seconds, of packets discarded by QoS policing or queuing for a specific interface, PW type, and queue on a VLL circuit. Admins watch it to catch active, ongoing packet loss on a specific queue in near real time rather than waiting for the cumulative discard counter to climb. For example, a nonzero hwVllQosStatisticDiscardPacketRate on the cs6(7) queue would immediately flag control traffic currently being dropped.
