hwTdmPsnAlarmPwStatus

Module: HUAWEI-TDM-PSN-MIB

OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-TDM-PSN-MIB::hwTdmPsnAlarmPwStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.152.1.2.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: This variable indicates the Line Status of the interface. It contains PW alarms information. The hwTdmPsnInfoPwStatus is a bit map represented as a Sum, therefore, it can represent multiple alarms simultaneously. PwNoAlarm must be set if and only if no other flag is set. The various bit positions are: 0 bit PwNoAlarm No alarm present 1 bit PwRAI Remote Alarm Indication 2 bit PwAIS Alarm Indication Signal

What is hwTdmPsnAlarmPwStatus?

This read-only value is a bitmap of pseudowire alarm flags for the interface, where bit 0 is PwNoAlarm (set only when nothing else is), bit 1 is PwRAI (Remote Alarm Indication), and bit 2 is PwAIS (Alarm Indication Signal), allowing multiple alarms to be reported simultaneously as a summed value. An admin reads it to see, in one poll, all currently active alarm conditions on the pseudowire's line status rather than needing separate objects per alarm type. For example, a value of 6 (binary 110) would indicate both PwRAI and PwAIS are simultaneously active on that pseudowire.
