hwRBRPPriorityValue

Module: HUAWEI-RBRP-MIB

OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-RBRP-MIB::hwRBRPPriorityValue

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.117.1.3.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description: This object indicates the device's priority which determines the status of a device in a specific group. The non-unready device with the largest priority value is in active status. When a device's priority is equal to another device's, the DeviceId will be the determining factor of a device's status.

What is hwRBRPPriorityValue?

This read-create integer, from 0 to 255 with a default of 100, sets a device's priority in determining which non-unready device becomes active within an RBRP group, with the device ID breaking ties between equal priorities. Admins raise this value on the device they want to preferentially become the active ring-protection node. For example, setting this to 200 on the preferred primary device, higher than other group members' default of 100, ensures it becomes active whenever it's in a ready state.
