What is hwPppAuthenticateChapPw?
This holds the password used when authenticating a PPP link with CHAP. Admins configure this to match the credential the peer device expects during the CHAP authentication exchange. An admin setting up a PPP link to an ISP would set hwPppAuthenticateChapPw to the password matching the CHAP username provided by that ISP.
