What is hwMacAuthenPortEnable?

This per-port EnabledStatus flag controls whether MAC authentication is applied to hosts connecting on that specific L2 switch interface, defaulting to disable. Admins care because it lets MAC authentication be turned on selectively per port, once the global hwMacAuthenGlobalEnable switch is on, rather than switch-wide. For example, an admin sets this to enable(1) on a single access port to require MAC authentication there while leaving other ports open.
