What is hwAggPortRole?
This read-only object reports whether an individual port within a static LAG is currently selected(1), meaning actively forwarding as part of the aggregation, or unselected(2). Admins check per-port role to troubleshoot why a specific member link isn't carrying traffic even though it's physically up and part of the configured aggregation. A port showing hwAggPortRole as unselected(2) despite being link-up indicates it failed to be included in the active aggregation, worth checking against LACP partner settings.
