What is icmpInBadCode?

This counter reports the number of ICMP messages this device discarded because they carried an invalid ICMP code value. An admin monitors it as an indicator of malformed or malicious ICMP traffic hitting the device. For example, a rising count could point to a scanning tool sending crafted ICMP packets with invalid code fields toward the device.
