Description: The total number of packets that do not match the specific GTSM policy when packets of specific slot are received.
What is hwGTSMStatisticsDropPacketNum?
This 64-bit counter tracks the total number of packets dropped for failing to match a GTSM policy, for a specific slot, address type, and protocol combination. Admins use this finer-grained breakdown to pinpoint exactly which protocol or address family is triggering GTSM drops, narrowing down troubleshooting versus the coarser per-slot counter. A rising drop count specifically for protocol 89 (OSPF) would point an admin toward checking the GTSM policy's TTL range for OSPF neighbors.
