hwDhcpv6RowStatus

Module: HUAWEI-DSLAM-DHCPV6-RELAY-MIB

OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-DSLAM-DHCPV6-RELAY-MIB::hwDhcpv6RowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.111.1.5.1.14

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-write

Description: Row status, used for configuring the DHCPv6 server group. Options: 1. active(1) -when this leaf is queried, the value is fixed to active(1). 2. createAndGo(4) -create a DHCPv6 server group 3. destroy(6) -delete a DHCPv6 server group

To create a DHCPv6 server group, specify the index, hwIpDhcpv6ServerAddrType1 and leaf hwIpDhcpv6ServerAddr1(other leaves are optional), set hwDhcpv6RowStatus to createAndGo, and perform the set operation.

To modify a DHCPv6 server group, specify the index, hwIpDhcpv6ServerAddrType1 and leaf hwIpDhcpv6ServerAddr1(other leaves are optional), and perform the set operation.

To delete a DHCPv6 server group, specify index hwDhcpv6GroupID, set hwDhcpv6RowStatus to destroy(6), and perform the set operation.

In the query operation, the value of this leaf is always active(1).

What is hwDhcpv6RowStatus?

This standard SNMP row-status column creates, modifies, or deletes a row of this DHCPv6 server group table: setting it to createAndGo(4) along with an address type and at least the first server address creates a new group, destroy(6) deletes an existing group by its hwDhcpv6GroupID index, and a query always reads back active(1). Administrators use it to manage the lifecycle of DHCPv6 server groups rather than to represent an ongoing operational state.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.111.1.5.1.14
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HUAWEI-DSLAM-DHCPV6-RELAY-MIB::hwDhcpv6RowStatus

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.111.1.5.1.14.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HUAWEI-DSLAM-DHCPV6-RELAY-MIB::hwDhcpv6RowStatus.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.111.1.5.1.14.1 s <value>
