Module: HUAWEI-DSLAM-DHCPV6-RELAY-MIB
OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-DSLAM-DHCPV6-RELAY-MIB::hwDhcpv6MaxLenAppendOption
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.111.1.3.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32
Access: read-write
Description: Indicates the allowable maximum length of a DHCPv6 packet. Range: 500-1500 Unit: byte Default: 1500 bytes
What is hwDhcpv6MaxLenAppendOption?
This sets the maximum allowed length, in bytes, of a DHCPv6 packet after the relay appends its option data, ranging from 500 to 1500 with a default of 1500. Administrators lower it if a downstream network path has a smaller MTU that would otherwise fragment or drop oversized relayed DHCPv6 packets.
