What is hwDhcpv6L3ReceiveInvalidUnicast?
This counter tracks the total number of received unicast DHCPv6 Solicit, Information-Request, Confirm, or Rebind packets, which are only valid when sent as multicast and so are counted as invalid here, by the Layer-3 DHCPv6 relay on this Huawei DSLAM. It parallels the same-named Layer-2 counter (hwDhcpv6L2ReceiveInvalidUnicast) but applies to Layer-3 relay processing, and is one of several anomaly counters that let an administrator distinguish malformed or out-of-policy DHCPv6 traffic from the normal per-message-type counters kept alongside it.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.111.1.2.1.36 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HUAWEI-DSLAM-DHCPV6-RELAY-MIB::hwDhcpv6L3ReceiveInvalidUnicast
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.111.1.2.1.36.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HUAWEI-DSLAM-DHCPV6-RELAY-MIB::hwDhcpv6L3ReceiveInvalidUnicast.1
