hwbgpAcctTrafficIndex
Module: HUAWEI-BGP-ACCOUNTING-MIB
OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-BGP-ACCOUNTING-MIB::hwbgpAcctTrafficIndex
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.39.1.2.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32
Access: read-only
Description: An integer value greater than 0, that uniquely identifies a traffic-type. The traffic-type means the traffic coming into an interface can be differentiated into different types. It is up to the user to give meaning to and configure the various traffic-types on an interface.
What is hwbgpAcctTrafficIndex?
An index, from 1 to 64, identifying one of up to 64 user-defined traffic-type buckets under BGP accounting on a given interface. Because the meaning of each traffic-type number is entirely up to the admin's own configuration elsewhere, this index just lets accounting statistics be broken out per bucket rather than lumped into one total. An admin might configure traffic-type 1 to mean customer A's routes and traffic-type 2 to mean customer B's routes, then read separate packet and octet counters keyed by hwbgpAcctTrafficIndex 1 versus 2.
