Description: Indicates current state (existing failures) of the ADSL channel in case its Data Path is PTM. This is a bit-map of possible conditions. The various bit positions are: noFailure(0) - This bit position positively reports that no defect or failure exists. outOfSync (1) - Out of synchronization. In case the channel is not of PTM Data Path the object is set to '0'.
What is hwadslnniChStatusPtmStatus?
This read-only bitmap reports current PTM-path failure conditions on the bearer channel -- noFailure or outOfSync -- and is forced to 0 when the channel isn't carrying a PTM data path. It's the PTM-mode analogue of hwadslnniChStatusAtmStatus, used to tell whether an Ethernet-over-ADSL channel has lost its packet framing.
