What is hpnicfVoiceIfCfgEchoCancelSwitch?
This object enables or disables echo cancellation on a voice interface, applicable to FXO, FXS, E&M, and E1/T1 voice subscriber lines. Admins leave it enabled by default to suppress the electrical echo that hybrid circuits introduce on analog and digital voice trunks, and would only disable it while isolating an echo-related fault. For example, a technician debugging persistent line noise might temporarily set hpnicfVoiceIfCfgEchoCancelSwitch to disable(2) to confirm the echo canceller itself isn't the source of the artifact.
