What is hpnicfStormCtrlPortMode?
This read-create enumerated value sets the storm-control action a port takes once traffic exceeds its configured threshold: none(1) takes no action, block(2) drops the excess traffic type, or shutdown(3) disables the port. Admins choose this mode to decide how aggressively the switch responds to a detected traffic storm. For example, setting it to shutdown(3) administratively disables the port entirely when a storm threshold is crossed, requiring manual re-enable.
