hpnicfprialarmInterval

Module: HPN-ICF-RMON-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): HPN-ICF-RMON-EXT-MIB::hpnicfprialarmInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.8.4.4.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The interval in seconds over which the data is sampled and compared with the rising and falling thresholds. When setting this variable, care should be taken in the case of deltaValue sampling - the interval should be set short enough that the sampled variable is very unlikely to increase or decrease by more than 2^31 - 1 during a single sampling interval.

This object may not be modified if the associated alarmStatus object is equal to valid(1).

What is hpnicfprialarmInterval?

This read-write value sets, in seconds, how often the sampled variable is measured and compared against the rising/falling thresholds, and cannot be modified while the entry's status is valid(1). An admin must set this interval short enough for deltaValue sampling that the tracked counter can't wrap or overflow by more than 2^31-1 between samples. For example, setting hpnicfprialarmInterval to 60 samples and evaluates the tracked variable once per minute against its configured thresholds.
