What is hpnicfRddcNodeStatus?
This read-only object reports this redundancy group node's current role: invalid, master (currently active), or standby (currently backup). Admins poll it to confirm which node in a redundancy pair is presently active without needing to check both nodes' configurations. For example, hpnicfRddcNodeStatus reading standby(3) confirms this particular node is currently the backup, not the active, member of its redundancy group.
