What is hpnicfRddcNodeBindType?
This read-only object reports what kind of physical entity this redundancy group node is bound to, currently supporting only chassis(2) for binding an IRF-member chassis, with invalid(1) meaning no valid binding exists. Admins check it to confirm a redundancy group node is properly tied to a real chassis in an IRF (Intelligent Resilient Framework) stack. For example, hpnicfRddcNodeBindType reading invalid(1) tells the admin this node isn't currently bound to any chassis and needs configuration.
