hpnicfQinQv2IfTransVlanList

Module: HPN-ICF-QINQV2-MIB

OID (symbolic): HPN-ICF-QINQV2-MIB::hpnicfQinQv2IfTransVlanList

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.137.1.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: Transparent VLANs described as a bitmap. Each octet within this value specifies a set of eight VLANs. The first octet specifies VLANs 1 through 8. The second octet specifies VLANs 9 through 16, and so on. Within each octet, the most significant bit represents the highest numbered VLAN, and the least significant bit represents the lowest numbered VLAN.

What is hpnicfQinQv2IfTransVlanList?

This read-write 512-byte OCTET STRING is a bitmap identifying which VLANs pass through this port transparently under QinQ, where each bit represents one VLAN ID and each octet covers eight consecutive VLANs starting from VLAN 1. An admin sets specific bits to exempt certain VLANs from QinQ double-tagging on this port, letting their traffic pass through untouched. For example, setting the bit corresponding to VLAN 100 marks that VLAN as transparent on this port so its frames are not wrapped in an additional service tag.
