hpnicfifBKbpsMulSuppression

Module: HPN-ICF-LswINF-MIB

OID (symbolic): HPN-ICF-LswINF-MIB::hpnicfifBKbpsMulSuppression

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.8.35.1.1.1.27

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: With bandwidth-based multicast suppression, the bandwidth is measured in Kbps. The upper limit of the multicast suppession with bandwidth-based(Kbps) is the value of hpnicfifBKbpsMulSuppressionMax in the entry. The value of hpnicfifBKbpsMulSuppression must be multiple of the value of hpnicfifBKbpsMulSuppressionStep. The default value of hpnicfifBKbpsMulSuppression is the value of hpnicfifBKbpsMulSuppressionMax.

What is hpnicfifBKbpsMulSuppression?

Sets bandwidth-based multicast-storm suppression on this port in Kbps, as a multiple of hpnicfifBKbpsMulSuppressionStep and up to hpnicfifBKbpsMulSuppressionMax (its default value). Admins use this finer-grained (Kbps) mode instead of the Mbps object when a more precise multicast-rate cap is needed.
