What is hpnicfFtmUnitRole?
This read-only value reports whether this unit is currently acting as the master(0) or a slave(1) within the XRN-Fabric stack. An administrator checks this field to identify which single stack unit is currently in charge of the fabric, since exactly one unit holds the master role while the rest operate as slaves. For example, hpnicfFtmUnitRole reporting master(0) for unit 1 tells the admin that unit is the one currently controlling the stack, while other units would report slave(1).
