Description: Indicates whether the occurence of an Errored Frame Event should result in an Event Notification OAMPDU generated by the OAM layer.
By default, this object should have the value enabled(1) for Ethernet like interfaces that support OAM. If the OAM layer does not support event notifications (as indicated via the hpnicfDot3OamFunctionsSupported attribute), this value is ignored.
What is hpnicfDot3OamErrFrameEvNotifEnable?
This controls whether an Errored Frame Event actually generates an OAM Event Notification OAMPDU to the peer: enabled(1, the default on OAM-capable interfaces) or disabled(2), and has no effect if event support isn't in hpnicfDot3OamFunctionsSupported. Admins disable this specific event type independently of the other three OAM event categories.
