Module: HPN-ICF-DLDP-MIB

OID (symbolic): HPN-ICF-DLDP-MIB::hpnicfDLDPUnidirectionalShutdown

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.43.1.1.7

Description: The mode of unidirectional shutdown. It indicates the shutdown mode when a unidirectional link happened. Auto mode means the port will be shut down automatically when DLDP detects unidirectional link. Manual mode means the port needs to be shut down by the administrator manually when DLDP detects unidirectional link.

What is hpnicfDLDPUnidirectionalShutdown?

Sets how the device responds when DLDP detects a unidirectional link: automatically shutting the port down, or requiring the administrator to shut it down manually. Admins might choose manual(2) in environments where they want to review a suspected DLDP fault before taking a port out of service. The default of auto(1) means the switch immediately shuts down a port DLDP has flagged as unidirectional, minimizing the risk of a forwarding loop.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.43.1.1.7
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HPN-ICF-DLDP-MIB::hpnicfDLDPUnidirectionalShutdown

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.43.1.1.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HPN-ICF-DLDP-MIB::hpnicfDLDPUnidirectionalShutdown.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.43.1.1.7.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> hpnicfDLDPUnidirectionalShutdown.1
