Description: The sequence number field is a signed 32-bit integer. It is used to detect old and duplicate link state advertisements. The space of sequence numbers is linearly ordered. The larger the sequence number the more recent the advertisement.
What is snOspfLsdbSequence?
The signed 32-bit sequence number of this LSA, used to distinguish newer instances from old or duplicate copies; sequence numbers start near '80000001'h and increase, so a higher (less negative) value means a more recent advertisement. Admins comparing this across routers can spot whether one has a stale copy of an LSA.
