OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.5.1.46.1.2.1.12

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-create

Description: When specified as 'true', this expiration event occurs whenever the switch reboots. It is a necessary expiration policy since all restrictions are persistent and it is possible that we can have an obsolete policy (slot-down) following a power-fail condition.

What is hpFtrCoExpireBoot?

This TruthValue controls whether the restriction should automatically expire the next time the switch reboots, defaulting to false. An administrator sets it to true for restrictions tied to transient conditions, such as a slot-down event, so an obsolete restriction does not persist across a power failure or reboot. For example, setting hpFtrCoExpireBoot to true(1) ensures a restriction created due to a temporary slot outage is cleared automatically after the switch's next reboot.
