What is snPortCARExceedAction?
snPortCARExceedAction specifies the action taken on traffic that exceeds the rate limit: drop, transmit (xmit), continue to the next rate limit, or rewrite IP precedence and transmit or continue. Admins set this to decide how over-limit traffic is treated, commonly dropping it outright or marking it down with a lower IP precedence for best-effort forwarding. For example, an admin enforcing a hard bandwidth cap would set snPortCARExceedAction to drop so traffic beyond the committed rate is simply discarded.
