Description: Enable/Disable TCP offset DoS protection. All packets ingress having a TCP header offset equal to 1 are dropped.
What is hm2DosMitigationTcpOffsetEqu1?
Enables dropping of ingress packets whose TCP header data offset field equals 1, an invalid offset value used in some crafted-packet DoS attacks against TCP stacks. It's disabled by default; an admin enables it as part of hardening TCP header validation on the device.
