Description: Enable/Disable source MAC address equals destination MAC address DoS protection. All packets ingress having SMAC equals DMAC are dropped.
What is hm2DosMitigationSMacDMac?
Enables dropping of ingress packets whose source MAC address equals the destination MAC address, an invalid combination associated with certain Layer 2 DoS/spoofing attempts. Unlike most objects in this MIB, this one defaults to enabled, reflecting that this particular check is considered safe to run by default.
